Google Launches AR Dinosaurs in The Real World

Do you ever wish to see how the dinosaurs used to stomp around the Earth? So far, we have only been able to visualize how they roam around from the popular ‘Jurassic Park’ franchise. It used to be unbelievably difficult to clone how a dinosaur until now.

The giant tech, Google, had announced in its May 2019 I/O developers conference that it will be implementing 3D images to its search results. It has rolled out the features where its users are able to envision 10 dinosaur breeds on Google Search through Augmented Reality. Now, not all users might be able to play around with this feature. The users will require an iPhone/iPad that contains the version iOS 11.0 or higher. Android cell phones and tablets must have the Google Play Store up and running along with Android 7.0 or higher version.

Google has officially shared a list of the animals users will be able to see using AR:

Alligator

Angler Fish

How to find 3D animals?

You simply have to go on Google from your phone’s Safari or Chrome, search the specific animal name you would like to see and click on “View in 3D” button. You will further be able to resize the animals to better fit your surroundings simply by slowly pinching on it. The 3D view will allow you to see minor details of the animals that you would have rather missed.
